TERMS AND CONDITIONS -

A non-refundable deposit of£50 is required to secure your booking in my diary. This secures a slots for save the dates, invitations and one nearer your wedding day for on the day stationery.


Payment of the deposit is understood to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.


We accept payment by BACS transfer, cheque or cash. Please make cheques payable to Malu Design.


The balance is due 3 weeks before you wish to receive your invitations. Completed orders will only be dispatched once the full balance is paid. On the day stationery is invoiced separately once digital proofs of those items is received.


Digital proofs of each item ordered will be emailed to you to approve. PLEASE CHECK ALL WORDING etc CAREFULLY if there are any alterations please let me know and amended proofs will be emailed back to you. Once you are happy with everything please email approval confirmation (once production of your stationery begins any further changes may incur additional costs).


All prices include VAT where applicable.


There is no minimum order number of invitations.


Your stationery will normally be ready for dispatch within 3 weeks from receipt of your emailed final approval and balance payment or on a preferred date you have chosen.


Postage and packing is charged at £10.00 for save the dates and invitations and approximately £20.00 for on the day stationery, depending on the size of the table plan. All stationery is packed carefully and securely and sent by either courier service (which will need a signature on delivery) or Royal Mail first class post. Orders can also be collected from our studio near Carlisle.


Due to the nature of my handmade products, some designs may vary slightly to what is shown on our website. The materials we use may have naturally occurring minor imperfections as part of their manufacturing process. If any materials have to be substituted I will let you know before starting on your order.


Prices are subject to change; however any orders which have already been confirmed and a deposit paid will not be affected.


If an order is cancelled, any work already in process must be paid for in full.


All original content, images, artwork and designs (incl publicity material and website content) are copyright of Malu Design. They may not be used in whole or part without express written consent.


The client is responsible for obtaining permission for printed reproduction of any material, poems, hymns, songs etc that is requested by the client for the order of service/day. The client indemnifies Malu Design against any action brought against it for breach of a third party’s copyright.


Please be aware that due to small parts, invitations are not suitable for young children.


All personal details and contact information given to Malu Design will be completely confidential.
